I opened La Petite Galerie 15 years ago in Annapolis. Previously, I owned the Barbizon Gallery in Severna Park for a period of three years, but I closed that gallery to accompany my husband on an overseas assignment. I had collected art from the various countries where I lived, and it seemed a logical progression for me to open my own gallery. Also, it gave a new dimension to my life after my husband's death in 1984.
